I don’t know if I’m developing a writing ego or if I’m just tired of people asking me to write and edit for free. Whichever it is, I’m feeling something.

Allow me to explain. I went to an organization to request resources for my Shorty Resource blog.  The person I spoke to told me that my services were needed.  Cool.  I was given something to edit as proof of my journalism skills.  Well, in my mind, I can send you loads of published articles and several blog posts as proof of my talents.  So, why should I edit your work to prove my skills when I have enough proof already?

Like I said, I don’t know if I’m developing a writing ego or if I’m just tired of people asking me to write and edit for free.  All I know is – that editing work will not be done.
