My friend Joanne called me this morning to let me know that her husband died last night.  I am heartbroken, and I feel really bad for her because she lost her best friend during the Christmas holiday.  Please pray for Joanne and her family.

On a different note, my little sister is 11 years old today.  I cannot believe  she is that old!  I remember when she first got here at 18 mos.  She thinks she’s getting taller.  I hope she does shoot upward for her sake.  Right now, she’s an itty bitty.  Happy birthday Tamia!

One last thing, I have stepped into the next decade of the new millennium with text messaging.  I know, I’m behind about 10 years, but I’m here now!  Now, I can keep up with my teenage friends.   Seriously, I can keep up with everyone else.  I think I’m the last of the non-texting individuals.  Nope, my mama is.  Got to bring her into the new millennium with me.
